Fuer und Wider / Pro and Con

Fuer:

• muss jetzt keinen Babysitter suchen
• muss mir jetzt nicht ueberlegen, wie ich schaffe, am ersten Schultag gleichzeitig in Phil und hier zu sein
• kann den Kirchenvorstandsvorsitz uebernehmen
• kann noch weiter bei Freundin K. stricken aufbessern
• hab noch ein bisschen Freizeit fuer mich

Wider:

• fange mein Leben als Pastor noch spaeter an
• muss allen (jedenfalls allen, den ich es schon erzaehlt hatte) berichten, dass ich im Herbst nun doch nicht gehe
• bekomme keinen neuen Mac, sondern behalte die olle PC-Kiste
• keine drei Gottesdienste pro Tag

Alles wird gut. Bestimmt. Irgendwie. Ach menno...

Pro

• no need to find a babysitter
• no need to try to figure out how to be in two places at the same time (seminary and first day of new school)
• can accept chair of church council
• can brush up my knitting with friend K. a bit more
• have a bit time left for myself

Con

• will start my life as a pastor even more late
• will have to tell all with whom I shared I'd leave for Philly in fall that I won't leave after all
• won't get a brand new mac but will keep this old and out-fashioned PC
• won't be able to wrap my day around three services

All will be well. I believe that. Somehow. Oh darn...
